April Schedule – Busy, Busy Busy!

Hello Folks,

There’s a lot going on in April and feels good to be busy! I’ve been playing in a duo with my oldest son, Austin, and I can’t tell you how much I enjoy both performing with him as well as watch him grow as a musician. I’m playing  a new venue and I have a return engagement to a new room in Peoria, as well as a private event but the big news is on April 14th and 15th. The guys from Ohio are coming out to play a 2-nighter at Janey’s Cave Creek!
I hope to see you at a show!

Bill

“What else do you do beside play that guitar”?
Pretty much everyone who knows me knows me as a working musician who plays guitar. I’ve met a l lot of great people through music – they’ve come to learn more about what I like to do besides playing guitar. One of those is cooking. My dad is gourmet-level when it comes to cooking and I grew up around it. Another hobby of mine is close-up magic; cards, coins, etc. I actually started studying magic around the same time I started taking guitar lessons at age 10.  I still mess around with it today for fun but I haven’t done the saw-the-lady-in-half trick yet. 😉

I’m also a board member of a fabulous organization called ALL (Autism Life & Living). We’re a nonprofit organization that serves young adults with autism and related developmental disabilities. As the parent of a high-functioning adult on the spectrum, this is a cause that resonates for my wife and I. ALL empowers young adults with autism by providing programs that promote inclusion, independence, socialization, and well-being.
This underserved population experiences significant gaps in support
services needed to live a healthy, safe, and independent life. ALL
works within the communities to bridge these gaps, making quality
programs more accessible. We’re looking for people that want to help make a difference in today’s world for these amazing young adults and you can help be a part of that!

We’re holding a Roaring 20’s Speakeasy Gala on Sunday, April 23rd at Kazimierz Wine and Whiskey Bar at 6pm. There will be live music with a 1920’s era band, heavy hors d’oeuvres, 2 signature cocktails, casino games with 100 chips, silent auction, trivia and a photo shoot booth with props! So dress up as a gangster, flapper or the Great Gatsby and come relive the days of prohibition! Even if you can’t make the event, there are sponsorships available!
