Contact/Booking

Live music adds a special touch to private parties, public festivals, birthday parties and corporate events. I love performing at events like these because I can custom-tailor the music to fit the needs of the client and the theme of the event. Whether it’s elegant background music or get-the-party-going rock and roll, I can put together a show that will provide a memorable evening for your guests! 1. Bill it was a pleasure to meet you after the Sunday afternoon show at Janey’s.

I’m a snowbird and looking for somebody local to work on my Guild 12-string.
I have it tuned a step lower for my voice and it keeps slipping out of tune.
My guy in Chicago says it needs to be set up for that tuning. And he had some other ideas on how to manage it. Do you know someone local to do this you could recommend? I won’t be returning home until April. I’d like to get it done sooner.
    Thank you!

  2. Hi John, Sorry for the late reply. I would recommend Tim at Atomic Guitar Works 623-878-4127. Busy guy but he does great work!

  3. Hey Bill, sorry to keep bugging you but another question. I’m looking at a Lakewood M 18. Wow, what a great sounding guitar. Larger nut than I’m accustomed to but kind of digging it the more I play. Just wondering what pickup you like in your Lakewoods? I’m not a fan of any sound hole pu due to striking it too much and getting a loud boom. I’ve been using the Fishman Matrix Infinity which I’ve liked but am willy to try something else. I put a Journey EP001K in one of my 00015s. Kind of impressed as a solo but I’ll have to see when playing with the trio. Any input is welcomed. Happy Holidays!

  4. Hi Bill
Would you be available on November 23, 2024 to play for my birthday party, say – 7pm to 8pm?

  5. Het Tim, I’ve always bee a fan of the LR Baggs stuff. You might check out the Anthem system. They recently came out with a new contact pickup called the Hi-Fi. Haven’t tried it myself but it looks very cool. I use Dazzo contact transducers in my Tom Davis Harp guitar. I really like them:http://www.dazzopickups.com/HOME.html
    Hope this helps.

  6. Hi Sue,
Unfortunately, I’m already booked on the 23rd. I’m open the 9th and 30th if you’re looking for a Saturday. Private events are $500 an hour with a two hour minimum.
    Thank you,
    Bill
