Autism Life and Living (ALL) is an organization that my wife and I have recently become involved with. As parents of a high-functioning young adult on the Autism spectrum, this cause is something we’re both passionate about. The mission statement of ALL is to address the lack of resources available for adults with I/DD’s to seek safe, affordable and supported housing. This is currently a nationwide crisis as there are over 7 million people with I/DD’s and only 17% are receiving publicly funded residential support. The other 6.14 million (83%) do not receive this support.
On Sunday, April 3rd, ALL will be holding a fundraising event at Singh Meadows 1490 E. Weber DR. Tempe, AZ 85281. I will be performing for the event and I’ll be donating a private in-home concert as part of the silent auction. There will be games and prizes as well as a brunch catered by The Barking Bodega and this will be a wonderful opportunity to support a great cause.
