ABOUT THE SERIES: Extreme Acoustic has featured some of Arizona’s top acoustic guitar performers and this installment is without a doubt going to be another great contribution to the series.
The format is three performers, each playing a 25-minute set. After the last performer has finished their set, the other two artists come back onstage to close the evening with a couple encores. This is the best part of the evening for me as the encores are always unrehearsed and the magic that gets created during these improvisational moments is incredible to both see and hear onstage.
My effort in this series is to share the magic of the guitar with the audience, through the hands of some of Arizona’s finest performers. The concert hall at the MIM is a ‘listening-room’ setting where the audience can hear every nuance of the performance as the acoustics of the venue are second to none. These shows always have strong turnouts and tickets sell fast. Sales to the public go live on the Feb. 13th.
